2022 Virtual Regatta
In 2020, we celebrated our 50th anniversary, our sport, and the future with the rowing community - virtually. You turned out to compete in spite of the challenges. It was truly inspiring to see you meet your goals, row with family members, race in a single for the first time, keep those records of consecutive HOSRs...and help to raise over $8,000 for Philadelphia City Rowing, empowering youth through the sport of rowing.
We know many cannot travel to Philadelphia, but still want to connect and compete with athletes across the country and around the world!
Thanks to your tremendous feedback and participation in 2021, the HOSR will hold a virtual component again in 2022.
The 2022 Head of the Schuylkill Regatta is “virtually yours” (or anybody’s for that matter!) as you can compete from wherever you are, on your favorite rowing machine or body of water. There will be participatory events for the self-submittal of times on both the erg and water during October 23rd-30th. Registration will open September 12, 2022 on Regatta Central and will remain open through October 26th.
Athletes must row 4,150m on their own body of water any time between October 23rd and October 30th. The ability to submit your score will not open until this week.

All land and water participants may manually self-submit a time through these steps:
Log-in to Regatta Central.
In the left column, go to My Entries.
You should then see your entry(ies); click on the link that reads “submit results” to the right of the entry.
A box will appear whereby you write-in your raw time: MM:SS.t
If you registered team boats, you will need to collect data from each competitor to submit in the same manner.
