While commencing regatta weekend with the singing of the National Anthem has long been an HOSR tradition, we are thrilled to have Josh Tower, Temple University grad and cast member of the Hamilton Tour currently on stage in Philadelphia, open racing each day with “The Star-Spangled Banner”. Please join us at 7:45am both Saturday and Sunday, at the Three Angels, for the anthem and the opportunity to meet and greet with Josh.
Josh’s Bio: Josh Tower has been a working actor, based in New York City, for over 20 years. While credits include both TV & film, he most recently plays Aaron Burr in the 1st National Tour of Hamilton currently at the Forrest Theatre here in Philadelphia. Other recent credits include, Law & Order: SVU (guest star), Blue Bloods (recurring), School of Rock Bway, Berry Gordy in Motown the Musical, Bway and National Tour, Simba in the Lion king (2001-2007) Bway and National Tour, Ragtime Original Chicago Company and Bway. He holds a BA in Theater from Temple University & an MFA in acting from PlayMakers Rep at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. A Veteran of the US Army.
