Parents, Family and Friends
The HOSR looks forward to welcoming you back to the banks of the Schuylkill River in 2024. 2024 LIVE STREAMTrailers
Boat trailers for Saturday races should arrive Friday, between Noon and 8:00pm. Trailers for Sunday races should arrive Saturday no earlier than 5:30PM, and no later than 8:00PM.
If arriving after 8pm, please advise. If arriving in AM, you must arrive between 6am-7am.
To comply with park policies and provide a safe environment, boat trailer parking is restricted to designated areas. Boat trailers do not have assigned parking spots; upon arrival, you will be directed by our parking team to the next available space. Tow trucks need to be removed from the trailer and parked in designated areas off the grass. Please assist us in planning your arrival and stay by completing the short survey above.
To assist athletes and volunteers in finding trailers, there are numbers markers chronologically posted on lampposts from Girard Avenue Bridge to Columbia Bridge. We encourage teams to locate the marker nearest your trailer and communicate this number with the team.
Team tents are permitted to keep competitors protected from the elements, however they must be placed at the water’s end of the trailer, or in an area that is not suitable for boat trailers. Teams must comply with HOSR staff/volunteers directives to relocate ill-placed tents. Tents provided for cheering parents/spectators, chuckwagons, grills and other cooking tools are only permitted in the area along the last 700 meters of the 2K course, between the City Dock and Grandstand parking lot.

To order your chuck wagon permit please register at RegattaCentral by October 22nd. If you plan to have a chuck wagon on site both Saturday and Sunday, you must purchase permits for both days.
All Chuck wagons must park diagonally on the river side of Kelly Drive as designated by parking staff. The chuck wagon permit is for chuck wagons only. Tow vehicle must be unhitched. Tents cannot interfere with boat trailer parking, dock logistics, drop off zone, and other critical safety/traffic logistics as determined by the HOSR parking management. Be A Trailblazer
Building off the HOSR’s 2015 initiative to reduce the usage of single-use water bottles, our goal, in unison with those of the City, has expanded to become a Zero Waste and Litter Regatta. The HOSR was one of the first large-scale events in Philadelphia to take this challenge.
The Regatta, in partnership with City departments will provide trash and recycling barrels throughout the Regatta grounds. Please separate trash from recycling as to not contaminate the recycling stream. We encourage you/your team to “pack out” what you bring in. Please read the attached note for ways we encourage you to partner with us to achieve the Zero Waste and Litter goals.
In addition, we WILL HAVE the giant blue water monsters on-site this year! Please bring reusable bottles, and 3-5 gallon jugs of water for refilling.
