Philadelphia’s Fall Festival of Rowing On Saturday, October 29 and Sunday, October 30 family, friends and park-goers can enjoy exceptional rowing competition in Philadelphia’s final regatta of the 2016 season. “National research reveals that when a sampling of people from all 50 states are asked to say what word comes to mind when they hear ‘Philadelphia,’ the most common response is ‘cheesesteaks.’ Second: ‘The Liberty Bell.’ Third: ‘Head of the Schuylkill Regatta.” ~ Clifford Pearlman
Kelly Drive will be closed during the Regatta. Off site parking is available for a nominal fee. Free continuous shuttle buses will take spectators to sites along the 2.5-mile racecourse. The Schuylkill River is within easy walking distance to many of the city’s charming neighborhoods.
