We are in this together.

No more evident than today is our appreciation for one another and the belief that it takes every one of us to reach our full potential, individually, as a community, and as a connected world.

We consistently relay to our volunteers that they are the backbone of the regatta – each essential to producing a safe, fair and competitive race, as well as a unforgettable experience on and off the water.  Whether preparing launches for the water, recording splits for timing, providing direction to a lost parent, or replacing toiletries in the porta pots – all jobs are significant, and the manner in which our volunteers carry out their responsibilities truly elevate the regatta, just as they – just as YOU – are elevating the world right now.

As a thank you not only to our volunteers, but to our competitors, and all those who give their heart and soul to make each day a little better, we are sharing thoughts and glimpses of lives behind the faces we often only pass by.  These are not the highlights, this is the every day that we will continue to appreciate in communities near and far, long after this pandemic pause.
